i just saw it, ok heres the basics without giving away too much of the plot:

it basically gives you the phycological effects of war without ever being in it. the people in the movie were trained to kill and for 200 something days they begged to do it, and then wen finally given the chance, they weren't allowed to. the movie is based on things being ironic. like how people can still feel the effects of the war without actually being in it.

in short if your looking for a shoot em up war movie, then this isnt for you. this movie is based on what the soldiers have to deal with and put up with outside of the actual battle (like dealing with loved ones over seas, boot camp and other drills). i thought it was pretty well done, but i dont know if i would go see it again.

I think that sounds awesome. There are so many war movies out, and sometimes things can get redundant. But there aren't really too many movies focused specifically on the training and life of a soldier. Ya know what I mean?

Well I watched it tonight as well.. I was looking for a shoot'em up movie lol, Other than the basically no action it was ok.. could have been longer, could have been better too. Killing is a good people gabber I suppose alot of people were looking forward to this movie, well Previews arent what they seem. Still movies even till this day are hard to beat: Band Of Brothers/Saving Private Ryan/Pearl Harbor. Still looking for that, sitting at the edge of your seat kind of war movie to come out like they used to have'em. Everyone has their own opinion about each movie, so youd have to see it to get an idea. It was well made I give it that. Not something i'd see agian as Sizzle said, or something I would buy.
