Map tactics

Yo all, its MODIZZLE here. Just thought this forum could do with a strategy topic for gameplay on wasteland server (inc. others if you like).

Just place the name of server, game type, map, and map name if you know it. Screen shots would be useful if you are able to post any on here.

I will be adding new techniques for maxium mvp including getting other teams flag on ctf, killstreak, and general good game play.

Well i thought id better get this ball going. Have you ever heard of "flanking"? Its a very old strategy used by many great generals in the art of war. There are many maps where this technique can be used very well. Take *obc* wasteland ctf desert for example. One map consists of three main sectors. You have a right hand side, middle, and left side. On this particular map, the opposite team tends to send alot of snipers to your teams left side. They have a tower, building, and serveral rocks including a wall and good sized hill to sniper from. Because the only two entries to this particular side means that you have to face a large group of possible snipers and noob's. The enterance backs onto their flag directly in front of ther base and spawning area. If enough men are out and snipering, smoke nade the flag enterance or flag as appropriate due to other team members, and run back on yourself towards your base but down the "left side" where the other teams snipers are. Get into a good position, rembering that the other team are continualy sending men down your way now. Maby duck infront of a rock, dont worry the snipers cant see you. Now you are free to take their heads of from behined geting a great headshot and possibly killstreak.

most of the time i like to set camp rite outside the enemy's base.. so that u can pick em off as they come out of it.. works really gr8 in most maps.. and it allows u to go for the flag or help defend a teammate who has taken it...

Most of the time, I just like to run out into the middle of an open field, walk straight, and look at the typing in the lower left corner of my screen instead of where I am going. ;D

(The sad thing is.... well..... that it's the truth!!! That's why I die so easily. I just don't really care, hehe)

I hope to never ever be in a platoon, but if I am, I'll be more mobile. And stealthy.

And I won't need to worry about pressing "w", left-clicking, pressing "r", pressing "q" or "e", pressing "c", pressing "v" or "space", and actually aiming at the target all at the same time!!

(a.k.a. moving forward, shooting, reloading, leaning, crouching, jumping, and aiming....)

I just get so confused, and my fingers slip off the tiny laptop keys!!

come spec me on obc maps, watch how i can hold of any entire team to give cover for flag runners. Lol new map, and new tactics

I like doing what Hiz says......picking them off as they come out of their spawn. They are so unsuspecting.....

well i jus usally run around and try n find sum1 to kill b4 i get sniped....but i do find spots to kick it and kill ppl dat run by

lol, if ur patient enough, and know the maps v. well, you can find an ideal camp location, pop ur head out everyso often and pick people of from behined, or if ur realy skilled, knife people. lol. My fav is to run then sneak up on a sniper n drop a nade last second by him and run, watch end go BOOM (i bet it makes em jump too)

Any one here in armed forces? if ya are then you know how to cover eachother wen falling back. The other day i was playing with sum realy gud players, we where creatging a wall of bullets from 5 snipers and 2 ak noobs, i continualy fire naded ther base aswell at the bottle neck of ther camp on this particualr map.. I think people are starting to cathch on to this tackic lool.

LoL....Im not in the armed forces.....yet.....

Plan to go into the Army when Im 17, wanna be an Army Special Ops Sniper ;D.

But yeah, I love those days where your whole team is working together and bringing in one flag at a time.

Aw man, I've had some times with my closest friends, and the TS crew, where the teamwork is just incredible, and we all have a blast! It's times like those that I live for with this game. Those times are the ones that keep me coming back for more.

if ur goin sniper Gizz im pretty sure u gotta be infantry for 2 years befor they let u in sniper school
